When Kathie DeNosky was young, she had a dream that no one knew about. She went to college, dropping out after only 6 weeks, got married, had 3 children, worked part-time, but the dream didn't die, wouldn't die. So she finally decided to do something about it. She got a computer, sat down in front of it and began to write. She sold her first book to Silhouette Desire in 1999. Now a few years later, she is a best-selling author who writes about everyday people falling in love and finding their happily-ever-after. Favorite color: Hmm. I love colors of all kinds, but if I have to pick just one, I'd say it would be red this week. Next week it will be something else.

Favorite food: Without a doubt it has to be chocolate.

Favorite move: You've got to be kidding! I have so many favorites. Gone with the Wind, McClintock, While You Were Sleeping, It Happened One Night, Arsenic and Old Lace, Ms. Congeniality, Steel Magnolias, Sleepless in Seattle.... The list goes on and one.

Collections: Yes. For every book I write, I get a sterling silver charm for my charm bracelet. Each charm represents something that's in one of the books.

Morning person or night owl: Since I mostly write my books in the middle of the night, I'd definitely qualify as a night owl.

Italian, Chinese or Mexican: I love all 3, but I think my favorite would be Italian.

Hobbies: I love to do Folk Art painting, crochet, weave baskets, cross-stich, and just about any other craft you could think of. (I used to be a Folk Art painting and craft teacher in my before writing life.)

Favorite ice cream flavor: Double Chocolate Fudge Brownie with walnuts

Favorite comfort food: Anything chocolate

Favorite sleeping position: On my side. Doesn't matter which side.

Favorite article of clothing: A gray T-shirt with "Cowboy Up" on the front.
