Roxanne Rustand's love for
romance began in 1992 when a friend gave her a copy of a Judith
McNaught historical. After staying up all night to finish
it, she was hooked. That book and the countless others that
followed, led to her dream of writing romances.
As of 2005 she has sold
fourteen books to Harlequin, contributed to the trade paperback
serial murder mystery ORCHESTRATED MURDER, which was created
as a fundraiser for NPR public radio, and has also written
many magazine articles. Her heart-warming, emotional books
have earned numerous 4-Star reviews from Romantic Times and
Affaire de Coeur magazines, and have won many first-place
awards.
Involvement in RWA not
only helped her on the road to publication, but has provided
a way to give back to those who helped her. She has given
many workshops at national RWA conferences, at the regional
and state level, and as online classes.
Roxanne is a registered
dietition and it employed at a residential psychiatric care
facility. As a wife and mother of three, she works hard to
balance family, career, and writing commitments...even when
it means retreating to a hotel for the weekend to meet her
book deadlines.
